EB62 MANUAL TRANSAXLE: SHIFT AND SELECT LEVER SHAFT: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE INNER NO. 2 SHIFT LEVER

(a) Secure the shift and select lever shaft assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

(b) Using a (5 mm) pin punch and hammer, tap out the slotted spring pin and remove the inner No. 2 shift lever from the shift and select lever shaft.





HINT
Make a note of the orientation of the inner No. 2 shift lever so that it can be reinstalled in the same position.

2. REMOVE FRONT INNER SHIFT LEVER

(a) Using a (5 mm) pin punch and hammer, tap out the slotted spring pin from the shift and select lever shaft and remove the front inner shift lever.





3. REMOVE RELEASE HEAD

(a) Using a (5 mm) pin punch and hammer, tap out the slotted spring pin from the shift and select lever shaft and remove the release head.
