BRAKE: BRAKE PEDAL: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

4. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LH Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Smart Key System) Removal

7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/ Smart Key System) Removal

8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL NO.1 Removal

9. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY

Refer to the procedures up to "REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER". Removal

11. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the stop light switch connector and disengage the 2 clamps.

(b) Remove 2 bolts (A), bolt (B) and the No. 1 brake pedal support plate.
