Installation

EB62 MANUAL TRANSAXLE: TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the No. 2 shift cable grommet retainer to the transmission control cable assembly.





(b) Install the control cable assembly through the floor hole.

(c) Install the control cable assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(d) Install the 2 transmission control cables to the control cable bracket with 2 new clips*1.





(e) Install the 2 clips.

4. ADJUST TRANSMISSION CONTROL SELECT CABLE ASSEMBLY

Adjustments.

5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT

7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (for PZEV) Installation

8. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (except PZEV) Installation

9. INSTALL INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Installation
