EB62 MANUAL TRANSAXLE: DIFFERENTIAL OIL SEAL: REPLACEMENT

1. DRAIN MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL Service and Repair

2. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

Removal.

3. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CASE OIL SEAL

(a) Using SST, remove the transmission case oil seal.

SST : 09308-00010





4. REMOVE TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL

(a) Using SST, remove the transaxle case oil seal.

SST : 09308-00010





5. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CASE OIL SEAL

(a) Coat the lip of a new oil seal with MP grease.





(b) Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal.

SST : 09608-32010

SST : 09950-70010

Standard depth:

-0.5 to 0.5 mm (-0.0197 to 0.0197 in.)

NOTICE:
Do not damage the oil seal lip.

6. INSTALL TRANSAXLE CASE OIL SEAL

(a) Coat the lip of a new oil seal with MP grease.





(b) Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal.

SST : 09608-10010

SST : 09950-70010

09951-07100

Standard depth:

-0.5 to 0.5 mm (-0.0197 to 0.0197 in.)

NOTICE:
Do not damage the oil seal lip.

7. INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

Installation.

8. ADD MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL Service and Repair

9. INSPECT MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL Testing and Inspection

10. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
