Installation

2AR-FE EMISSION CONTROL: CANISTER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TRAP CANISTER WITH OUTLET VALVE ASSEMBLY (for PZEV)

(a) Install the trap canister with outlet valve assembly with the nut.





Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the air inlet tube.

2. INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY (for PZEV)

(a) Install the charcoal canister assembly with the 2 bolts and clip.





Torque : 39 Nm (398 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the vacuum hose, air inlet tube and vent hose.





3. INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY (except PZEV)

(a) Install the charcoal canister assembly with the 2 bolts and clip.





Torque : 39 Nm (398 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the purge line hose, connector and clamp.





(c) Connect the air inlet tube.





4. INSTALL FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the fuel tank assembly Installation.
