2AR-FE FUEL: FUEL PUMP: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP

(a) Apply gasoline to a new O-ring and install it to the fuel filter.





(b) Engage the 5 claws on the fuel filter and install the fuel pump with the pump filter.





2. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT

(a) Install the No. 1 fuel suction support to the fuel filter and connect the fuel pump harness connector.





3. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL TANK BAND BRACKET

(a) Install the spring to the fuel suction plate shaft and install it to the No. 1 fuel tank band bracket.

(b) Engage the 4 claws of the No. 1 fuel suction support and install the No. 1 fuel tank band bracket to the fuel suction plate with the fuel filter.





(c) Install a new E-ring.





(d) Connect the fuel pump harness connectors to the fuel suction plate.
