BRAKE CONTROL: YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR (w/ VSC): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transaxle) Removal

2. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle) Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH Removal

5. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transaxle) Removal

6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL (for Manual Transaxle) Removal

7. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle) Removal

8. REMOVE UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transaxle) Removal

9. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX POCKET (for Automatic Air Conditioning System) Removal

10. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET (for Automatic Air Conditioning System) Removal

11. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

12. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT (for Automatic Air Conditioning System) Removal

13. REMOVE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate sensor.

NOTICE:
Do not remove the sensor from the bracket.

14. REMOVE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR (for BOSCH Made)

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and yaw rate sensor from the bracket.
