INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT
After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION

(a) Check that the satellite radio antenna cord is securely connected to the radio receiver connector.

OK:

The cord is securely connected.

NG -- RECONNECT CONNECTOR CORRECTLY
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK ANTENNA CORD

(a) Disconnect the satellite radio antenna and radio receiver connectors.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE ANTENNA CORD Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. INSPECT SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPLACE SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER

(a) Replace the radio receiver with a known good one and check if the same problem occurs again.

(1) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(2) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

OK:

Malfunction disappears.

NG -- REPLACE SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA Removal

OK -- END
