Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

LIGHTING: LIGHTING SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).

(c) Turn Techstream on.

(d) Select the following menu items: Body Electrical / Trouble Codes.

(e) Read the DTCs.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).

(c) Turn Techstream on.

(d) Select the following menu items: Body Electrical / Trouble Codes.

(e) Erase the DTC.
